Biotic really appreciates their diligence in keeping an eye on these kinds of issues, a case in point is Boing Boing's report on the recently introduced, "Audio Broadcast Flag Licensing Act of 2006" (H.R. 4861). The act requires digital radio makers to build in protections for the recording industry. "This is a bill to steal from tomorrow's entrepreneurs...in order to line the pockets of yesterday's recording industry fatcats."
