Today's choice: Brainsaw by October Rust from their EP, Breitseite. Satisfying evocative grinding techno which plays on the very fringes of trance without losing sight of its sentient nature. Definitely a Friday night time to hit the clubs selection. October Rust, Fabian and Simone, is a German/Brazilian couple based in Amsterdam. I really liked this EP, and look forward to hearing more of their work.In Digital Diamond's Philosophy, they assert that "..we especially want to offer deep techno and trance music with soul," which is certainly true of this release, their 3rd.
