BSWC One-a-Day: Nick Chapman - Take Me Now

The netlabel, Comfort Stand had some wonderful compilations, but none so accessible as Wakka Chikka Wakka Chikka [csr049]. It got a lot of downloads on account of it's subject matter.

The explanation resides in the release notes:

"Even if you have never seen a porn movie in your lifetime, almost everyone in the world knows what the 'Wakka Chikka Wakka Chikka' represents... Each person, upon hearing it, mentally interprets the 'Wakka Chikka Wakka Chikka' in their own way, fueling a range of emotions from lust to disgust."
This is a very nice tune from that collection.

I remember when biotic pointed wakka chikka out to me, I was on the road at a client location and I had to write a proposal for another client one evening. I was bumming, tired, unable to focus - he caught me on skype and made the suggestion. Wrote the proposal to the album, rocked straight through. :)

I simply love this collection. It's long been in rotation on my ipod.

Short tease - Wakka Chikka Wakka Chikka Part 2 is now in the planning stages. The compilation is being planned for release on Comfortstand's sister label WM Recordings (weirdomusic.com). I will update you when we have a more defined timeframe, but it will be SOON!
