O.K., this one is amazing. It's like Kraftwerk producing an early Pink Floyd album--Syd Barrett drops acid and goes all wires and sequencers. I love it.Of course, it helps that I like both Kraftwerk and The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. This is Nattvaktaren and Moe Lodin's take on Baby Lemonade which first appeared on Barrett's 1970 solo release, Barrett.
Bevlar, the netlabel that released it on the occasion of Syd Barrett's death last year is from Sweden and unfortunately released it's last music yesterday at archive.org. Sad, yes, but for three years there they were going strong with some really fabulous material. Tonight's BSWC Radio Show with have a strong Bevlar imprint.
