Funny, yesterday Subsystem posted a tune from You Are Not Stealing Records, a Portugal-based netlabel that I have been really enjoying recently. I was just getting ready to drop a few tunes culled from their wonderful and varied collection...great minds and all that, eh?I guess I'll start with a retro-surf band from Portugal called Dr. Frankenstein. They released a six tunes under the name "The Cursed Tapes" that they had recorded 10 years before they got to the internet. In the years following recording these tunes, the band has gone through the usual ups and downs. They have survived and are going strong.
Oh, and did I mention that we like the cat theme?

This is one of the great greats on You are not Stealing Records. I love the surf/campy/monster mash/high energy non-stop ride to through to the last guitar note.
